If you are interested in getting SkinTyte in Lansing, the first step is to contact Aesthetics MedSpa and schedule a consultation. During this appointment, you will meet with either Dr. Ronan or a certified Aesthetician to discuss your goals for this treatment. They will examine your skin and ask you questions regarding your medical history to prevent any unnecessary risks during or after your treatment. What to Expect on the Day of SkinTyte
When you come in for your SkinTyte treatment, you will lie down on our reclining chair and make yourself comfortable. The technician will use a handheld device in the treatment areas to deliver high-intensity light energy. The energy comes out in rapid pulses and we will repeat the sequence over the treatment area to make sure you get the best results. You may experience some heat on your skin from the treatment, but the handpiece also has a cooling mechanism that helps keep the outer layers of your tissue unharmed, so you should be comfortable throughout the procedure.
Your treatment usually lasts between 35 and 45 minutes.

After your treatment, you will be able to return to your normal routine, however, you will experience some mild redness, but it should subside within the hour. You may experience some minor flaking after the treatment, but this is the dried-up, dead skin cells falling off your body. In many cases, you should be able to apply makeup, return to work or school, and resume a majority of your activities immediately after your treatment.
You should begin noticing results right away, but they will continue to improve for up to six months. While it’s not always necessary, you will see some greater improvements with multiple sessions.
