Introduction to OxyGeneo
Oxygen is the element of all life, and it goes far beyond just breathing it. Oxygen is incredibly vital to the health of our skin. Yes, you should be hydrating as much as you can, but in the case of your skin, deep breaths are just as important as water. If you are not getting enough oxygen, your skin may look dull, sag, dry out, and even wrinkle up. At Aesthetic Med Spa in Lansing, we harness the power of oxygen with the most state-of-the-art procedure and offer stunning results. Move over oxygen facials; OxyGeneo is a next-level treatment that brings a new definition to the word “glow.”
What is OxyGeneo?
OxyGeneo is a non-invasive treatment designed to be a 3-in-1 Super Facial that can be tailored to the specific needs of your skin type. It unlocks a trigger in the body called the ‘Bohr effect,’ to activate and oxygenate the skin naturally from the layers beneath your derma. One treatment can yield dramatic results. The treatment combines the benefits of microdermabrasion, facials, and skin infusions into one simple, non-invasive therapy. It is paired with two formulas to infuse the skin with essential nutrients that improve its texture and appearance.
- The NeoBright formula: This process is intended to lighten and brighten the skin with azelaic acid, kojic acid, and retinol.
- The NeoRevive formula: This is an anti-aging treatment containing hyaluronic acid, peptides, and retinol.
While utilizing these formulas, a natural healing response is prompted beneath the skin. This delivers oxygen-rich blood to the area of treatment, allowing more nutrients where you need them most.
What are the Benefits of OxyGeneo?

Who are the Best Candidates for OxyGeneo?
The best candidates for Oxygeneo in Lansing, MI, are ones with realistic expectations of what the treatment can do for them. If you find yourself seeking to improve your facial skin or experiencing any of the issues below, you may be the perfect candidate for this treatment.
What’s the First Step?
The first step in getting an OxyGeneo Facial in Lansing is to contact Aesthetics Med Spa to schedule a consultation. When you come in for this appointment, we will discuss what you are trying to achieve, try to get a better understanding of what your skincare routine currently looks like, and give you a thorough evaluation of your skin. Once all of this information is collected, we will put together an efficient plan tailored to your needs. If you agree with this plan, we will be able to start the OxyGeneo Facial immediately, or if needed, you can schedule a better day and time with our Patient Coordinator.
What to Expect on the Day of OxyGeneo
On the day of your OxyGeneo, we will be highly focused on your comfort and success. To speed up the process, we ask that you consider arriving at your appointment without any makeup on. Our esthetician first begins with a cleanse of the face; the deep clean allows for the most optimal results of OxyGeneo. After applying a gel, we use the Capsugen (handheld device) to exfoliate your skin; this allows us to gently remove the dead skin cells from the upper layer, and make the skin smooth while generating CO2 bubbles in high amounts to trigger the Bohr Effect. At this time, The Bohr Effect begins the oxygenation process for your skin. When it is triggered, O2-rich blood is sent to your skin, and it replaces the CO2. Once the skin has oxygenated, we will infuse it with vitamins, nutrients, and other active ingredients. These ingredients not only make your skin healthier and well-nourished but also make the skin tone smoother and radiant. The process should take a total of 30 minutes, and after completion, every inch of your skin will appear bright, healthy, and youthful.
Recovery for patients in Lansing with OxyGeneo is incredibly effortless, the procedure is very comforting, and it feels like a warm massage on your skin. Following an OxyGeneo facial, you can go about your life and daily routine. We do recommend simplifying your skincare regimen after the treatment, using standard moisturizer or cream. A full recovery plan will be provided by our Patient Coordinator.
How Much Does OxyGeneo Cost in Lansing, MI?
The cost of OxyGeneo in Lansing is entirely dependent on the patient’s needs, among some other factors. The best way to learn how much your treatment will be is to come in for your consultation and meet with a member of our aesthetic team. After we have a better understanding of what your needs are, our Patient Coordinator will be able to give you a breakdown of the cost of the procedure.
